Delivery & Returns
Addresses within the mainland UK should expect to take delivery within 3-5 working days, or 10 working days for made-to-order items. Please note that delivery to Northern & Southern Ireland and the off-shore islands may take slightly longer.
Most of our furniture items are delivered by our preferred kerbside pallet courier service. Once your order is with our courier, they will contact you within 24 hours to arrange a date in the following 7 working days that is convenient for delivery. Our courier is only obligated to deliver your order outside the specified delivery address. Thereon it will be your responsibility to transport the goods, assemble (if necessary), position as you wish and remove and dispose of all packaging. Collection of empty pallets can be arranged directly with our courier at no extra charge.
It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by HGV. If there is likely to be a problem e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit, please inform our courier at the time of arranging delivery so an alternative vehicle can be allocated.
To ensure longevity and guaranteed strength, all our furniture items are delivered fully assembled and ready to use.
For larger made-to-order items, one of our own vehicles and delivery team will unload, assemble and install in position, removing all packaging ready for immediate use. Once we have received your order, our customer service team will be able to provide you with an estimated delivery time and date. Our delivery and installation teams carry out all jobs with the upmost care and attention to detail, meeting high quality standards along with health and safety compliance.
Standard parcel delivery is available for most smaller items and outdoor accessories where applicable. We use well respected couriers for our deliveries and your parcel is trackable at every stage.
If you have ordered multiple items, these will be sent out in one delivery using the most appropriate transportation. Prior to accepting delivery, the contents of your order should be checked carefully for any damage to products or evidence of dents, scratches etc. or for incomplete supply. In the unlikely event that your furniture is damaged, please reject delivery and our courier will return the goods straightaway. Please contact us immediately so that we can arrange for a replacement to be dispatched to you as soon as possible.
If you are unable to check the contents of your order upon delivery, please sign the delivery note as unchecked. AEL cannot accept responsibility for the replacement of damaged or incomplete goods reported over 48 hours after accepting delivery.
In order to process your refund or replacement with respect to damaged goods, we require photographic documentation showing the damage.
We accept returns or refunds in accordance with a 14-day cooling off period. Please note that beyond 14 days after purchase we cannot take responsibility for any refunds or returns.
Please note, items that have been made-to-order cannot be returned or refunded.
